The Information Centre of Wine Route Colli del Trasimeno allows visitors to get closer to the values and traditions of this territory: history, art and culture unchanged over time have helped to maintain in this context a territorial dimension of environmental harmony and rhythms still slow.
The hills, the quiet mirror of the lake, the olive tree, vine, oak, the tower, the castle and the abbey, over the years have woven a web of relations of subtle meanings, such as to form the desired goal for a visitor attentive to the affairs of man and nature, culture and history.

1) SIGHT
Here we bring togheter the images we associate with wine: the different colours of the landscape, the seasons and the vineyards, the grapes, the wine cellar, the farmer's hands. The wine route is not only about discovering the wine, it's also about discovering the landscape and the nature of the area in wich the wine is produced.
Watch and imagine thousand colors of the landscapes that changes in the seasons: come and go Wine Route
2) TOUCH
Touch involves the body. When we taste a glass of wine it touches us. Some wines give us a velvety sensation, they have a mellow taste, other wines as smooth as silk, whilst other wines fell rough like leather. Experiencing a wine isn't just about taste, it's also about touch. We touch the wood of the wine barrel, the stones and bricks of the wine cellar, and the coldness of the glass.
Close your eyes: touch wood, disorderly velvet, the soft silk and rough leather.... the feelings that take you into the world of wine.
3) HEARING
Think of the sound which can be associated with wine. The sound of the popping of a Champagne cork, the sound of wine being poured, the chink of glasses for a toast, the fizz of sparkling wine bubbles. The sound we associate with wine make as think of parties, of being with friends and family and of being in good company.
Listen to sounds that are often not feel and imagine space, shapes wishes...come sounds that give you the sense to come or go back to live in places like these.
4) SMELL
An important part of wine tasting is smelling the wine. In fact the first thing we do after opening a bottle of wine, is to smell the cork. A wine holds many different perfumes: fruity, floral, vegetable and spicy. Now, you can try to guess the diffrent fragrances wine holds. Open one of the little bottles and guess the fragrance, then look at the number on the bottle and check it with the list. The sense of smell has a very long memory. A perfume can make you remember a person you last saw when you were very young. Similary, a vintage wine doesn't lose the perfume of its youth.
Smell the scent of wine: open a drawer, uncork a bottle and guess the essence ... compare what you have imagined with the cards in the lectern.
5) TASTE
Tasting a wine which holds the sun, the land and the farner's hard work, is a 360° degree experience of the senses. Now if you are interested in tasting the wine, please feel free to look at the leaflets of the different wine cellars you can now go and visit for wine tasting and to purchase the wine.
Sit and think to regain the emotions and the senses in a slow journey that will take you to visit our cellars ... an invitation to enjoy all the wealth that a large generous land like ours can give to whoever would go pursuing dreams and want.
